When God Shows Up Through Family
Today has been one of those days that reminds me how faithful God is and how often He shows up through the people closest to us.
As I reflect on the day, I can clearly see how God worked through my family. He worked through Bella Love today. He worked through Barbi today. He worked through godly men and families who are devoted and obedient to His call. In this season of life, God continues to show up in ways I could never plan or predict, and today was one of those days.
There were choices today. The choice to stay busy. The choice to distract myself. Or the choice to slow down and spend time with God. At the end of the day, choosing to spend more time with God than normal was the greatest decision I could have made. Walking and praying. Listening to worship music. Sitting quietly with His Word. Those moments created space for God to move.
Later, being invited into a close friend’s home and witnessing how they blessed our family in ways I cannot fully explain was a powerful reminder of God’s faithfulness. It was one of those moments where you realize God was already working long before you ever saw it coming.
What mattered most to me was that Bella got to see it. She got to witness how God shows up when circumstances feel uncertain and when outcomes are unclear. She saw that when times are tough and situations do not seem to be in your favor, God never leaves you or forsakes you. She saw what it looks like to trust Him with all your heart and not lean on your own understanding.
Today felt like a living testimony. A God moment. A God story. One that Bella can carry with her forever. Something she can return to in her own moments of doubt or waiting and remember that God comes through when you least expect it, but exactly when you need Him most.
When I step back and look at what God is doing, I cannot help but walk in gratitude and thanksgiving. There are people who care. There are people who love us. There are people who give generously and pour into our lives. In this season, we are learning that it is okay to receive, just as it is important to give.
Tonight my heart feels overjoyed. My cup truly runs over. I am grateful for the love shown to our family and for the constant presence of Jesus with us always.
