Moments that Matter

As I reflect today, I think back on the travel, the laughter, the fun, and the memories made with Barbi and Bella this past week. I find myself smiling at the small moments and looking forward to creating even more. Whether it is staying up late laughing and telling funny stories, long car rides taking in beautiful scenery, or waking up early to share breakfast and quiet conversation, these are the moments that matter most.

Family moments have a way of grounding us. They remind us that when one of us falls, the others are there to believe, to support, and to lift each other back up. When joy shows up, we get to celebrate it together. These are the things that cannot be taken away from us.

Life’s trials can feel heavy at times. They can be burdensome and unexpected. But through it all, we have our family. We have our faith. We have our belief in one another and the love that we share. We have hope. We have faith. And most importantly, we have love. A love that God gives us and unites us together through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Today is a gratitude day. I am grateful for waking up. I am grateful for my wife. I am grateful for my daughter. I am grateful for the countless blessings that surround me, many of which are easy to overlook when life feels busy or loud.

As this day begins, I choose to count my joy.
