Family

As I reflect, I think about what it truly means to be a family. Being a family means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life, no matter what. Not just in the good moments, but through arguments, misunderstandings, and the long nights when things feel heavy or unclear.

Family is the place where you don’t have to earn your belonging. It’s already there. Even when emotions run high. Even when words fall short. Even when you don’t fully understand each other yet.

When I look at everything life brings, the ups and downs, the good and the bad, the certainty and the uncertainty, I’m reminded that family is the constant. Through thick and thin, family is who keeps you grounded. They remind you who you are when things feel shaky. They hold you steady when the future feels unclear.

In seasons of uncertainty, it’s often tempting to look outward for answers. But this is usually the time to lean inward. To lean into family. To slow down. To listen. To be present. Family doesn’t remove the uncertainty, but it gives you a place to stand while you walk through it.
