Day 5 | Team USA Trials | Las Vegas

Day 5 | Team USA Trials | Las Vegas

Day 5 was one of those days that asks you to slow everything down.

Six games. One long block. Plenty of chances to rush, press, or let the moment get too loud. Instead, the goal stayed simple. Be where your feet are. Make the adjustment that’s in front of you. Let the rest take care of itself.

The day opened with a steady start. The ball reaction was there, and Bella settled in early. There were moments where things lined up just right and moments where great shots didn’t quite get rewarded. What stood out wasn’t the swing in scores, but the steadiness between frames. No rushing. No emotional carryover. Just a quiet reset and on to the next shot.

As the block moved on, the rhythm came and went, as it always does over six games. There were stretches where everything felt connected and stretches where adversity showed up early. Tough frames didn’t linger. Splits didn’t change body language. Good shots that didn’t strike were met with the same calm as the ones that did.

By the middle of the day, it felt less about what she was shooting and more about how she was handling the space. Staying present. Trusting what she was seeing. Making small adjustments without forcing anything.

The final game was the kind of finish you hope for. Not because it was perfect, but because it was composed. She stayed patient, found her look, and let the game come back to her. A beautiful shot late left a stone nine, and even that didn’t shake her. She closed strong, confident, and grounded.

When it was all over, the numbers told a solid story. Plus 156 for the day. A high game of 247. Two clean games. No missed single pins. A few splits along the way that didn’t convert, but none of them took her out of herself.

But the real win was quieter than that.

She stayed present. She stayed steady. She trusted the work.

Day 5 wasn’t about chasing anything.

It was about showing up fully and letting the day unfold.

And that’s exactly what she did.
