WSOB Morning Block Recap: Grit, Growth, and a Stepladder on the Horizon

WSOB Morning Block Recap: Grit, Growth, and a Stepladder on the Horizon

The morning match-play block is in the books here at the World Series of Bowling—and both Bella and Lindsay have kept themselves in strong position heading into the final stretch.

Bella went 3–1 across her four matches, showing both power and poise as she rebounded from an early loss to finish the block with three strong wins. She closed with a steady pace, smart lane adjustments, and a composed mindset. Her pinfall, plus match-play bonuses, puts her in a great position going into the afternoon.

Lindsay finished the morning 2–2, staying consistent and holding on to second place overall. She dropped the final game of the block, but held her own in a tough field. Her day so far has been marked by clean execution, smart reads, and quiet determination.

Now it’s time to reset.

Lunch break is underway, and the start time for the final block has been moved up—originally scheduled for 1:00 PM, it’s now set to begin at 12:30 PM. That gives just enough time to regroup, rehydrate, and refocus before the most important four-game set of the tournament.

The goal: earn a spot in the top five stepladder finals.

The energy is building. The pressure is real. And both girls are still right in the heart of it.

Let’s finish strong.
