WSOB Evening Match Play – Locked In and Letting It Fly

June 18, 2025 – Night Block Recap

The moment we stepped back into the bowling center tonight, the energy was different.

The lights felt brighter. The room had that hum—part tension, part excitement. Shoes squeaked on approach boards. Coaches leaned in with last-second reminders. Bowlers stood silent behind the lanes, locked in. You could hear pins crashing on one end of the center and almost feel the silence before a critical shot on the other.

This was match play. Four games. Bonus pins on the line. Everything tight. Everything counting.

Bella was on a mission.

She went a perfect 4–0 in her matches, picking up the full 120 bonus pins. On top of that, she shot an 836 series across the four games, earning another 36 pins from total pinfall advantage—156 bonus pins total on the night.

Every match, she stayed composed, aggressive, and adaptable. Whether striking or grinding, she kept control of her lane and her mindset. The kind of block you hope for when everything’s on the line.

Lindsay battled through a tough draw.

She finished with one win, one tie, and two losses, securing 45 bonus pins. Her effort didn’t waver, and she remained competitive and focused through each frame. Match play can be brutal, especially with short oil and tight standings, but Lindsay kept showing up—shot after shot.

By the time the last pin dropped, you could feel the weight lift—if only for a moment.

We gathered our things, loaded up, and headed out into the night. Tired, but proud. Hungry, but at peace. Laughing in the car, already halfway asleep in our minds.

Tomorrow starts early—9:00 AM, back at it again for Round Two of match play.

Four more games. Four more chances. More pins. More pressure. More purpose.

We’ll rest. We’ll rise.

We’ll be ready.
