Walking in the Rain: A Morning Reflection

Walking in the Rain: A Morning Reflection

This morning, I stepped out into a gentle sprinkle, the world fresh from an overnight downpour. Each raindrop on my glasses reminded me that, while my vision might not be crystal clear, the beauty and clarity of the world is still there if I choose to see through the distractions. The rain isn’t just weather; it’s a cleansing, a reminder that God’s love washes over us, refreshing our spirits and inviting us to embrace each step forward.

As I walked, I found a broken eggshell, a perfect metaphor for leaving behind what no longer serves us. Just as the eggshell once held life and is now empty, we too can let go of what’s old and step into new growth. Seeing that runner pass by, smiling in the rain, reminded me that it’s all about perspective. The rain can be seen as an inconvenience, or it can be embraced as a gentle, peaceful gift.

In the end, it’s about focusing beyond the fear, beyond the distractions, and choosing to see the love and presence of God in every moment.
