Two Choices: Bitterness or Light

Two Choices: Bitterness or Light

Today was full of motion—mowing, packing, preparing for a trip—but underneath it all, it was a day of reflection.

As I pushed the mower through the yard, I found myself thinking about the quiet battles we all face. The moments when people misunderstand us. The times when others speak against us, twist the truth, or walk away when we least expect it.

Life offers us two choices: we can choose bitterness, or we can choose light.

We can hold onto what was said and done and carry it with us like a weight. Or we can forgive. We can stay soft. We can keep loving even when it’s hard. Even when it hurts.

That’s the journey I’m choosing—one step at a time. A life of peace. A heart of light.

Even in the small things—like mowing the lawn—we get the chance to let go and move forward.
