Showing Up for the Ones Who Matter Most

Showing Up for the Ones Who Matter Most

This morning, as the sky was still quiet, I reminded myself that showing up is not only about me. It’s about Bella seeing her father choose discipline and excellence. It’s about Barbi seeing her husband believe the best, not dwell on what’s missing.

Reflection is the ground where seeds of growth are planted. Whether it’s before sunrise, in the middle of the afternoon, or just before bed, every pause is an opportunity to ask: Am I showing up in a way that reflects who I want to become?

For me, the answer is found in pursuing excellence—not perfection. Excellence is choosing to believe the best, focusing on opportunities, and modeling the mindset of growth. It’s the steady decision to serve others through how I live, not just through what I say.

I want my wife and daughter to see a man who is not only committed to his own growth but committed to them. That’s why I take this time each day—to reset, to reflect, and to recommit. Because who I am becoming matters to those I love most.
