Preparation: The Confidence Before the Day Begins

Preparation: The Confidence Before the Day Begins

Each morning when I wake up early, I feel like I’m giving myself a head start on the day. It’s more than just getting up — it’s designing a coordinated plan of attack. Preparation is where confidence is born.

When I prepare, I’m intentional. I start with my arsenal — cold showers, exercise, reading, study, and writing. These small acts build momentum. They sharpen my body, clear my mind, and strengthen my weaknesses. People often think confidence comes from success, but if you haven’t had success yet in the day, where does confidence come from? It comes from that early preparation.

By preparing, I’m not just making myself ready for the tasks ahead. I’m also creating a strategic plan to help my wife and daughter. If I wake up early and prepare myself, I can be there to support Barbi and invest time in Bella. It’s all about becoming 1% better each day by strengthening our weaknesses and building each other up as a family.

In the end, preparation is like our own scouting report. When we’re prepared, we’re confident. When we’re confident, we can face the day’s challenges with faith and strength.
