Match Play Wrap-Up – Day Two at the World Series of Bowling
Match play is officially in the books, and so is Day Two at the World Series of Bowling.
Bella fought hard all day—made it through qualifying, won two tight matches (including a one-pin nail-biter in the semifinals), and earned her place in the championship match on the Danielle McEwan medium pattern. But the final round didn’t go her way. A tough first game full of splits made the climb steep, and even with her best effort in Game 2, the gap was too much to overcome.
Sometimes you get beat—and that’s part of sports. But when the pins don’t fall, when the execution doesn’t meet the expectation, and when the outcome feels just out of reach—it stings in a different way. And that’s also part of learning. Part of growing.
Bella packed up her balls, slung her backpack over her shoulder, and walked out with grace. That’s what we’re proud of.
Lindsay also had a great run today, making it to the semifinals and competing with consistency and heart. The lessons they’re both walking away with can’t be measured on the scoreboard.
Tomorrow brings a new pattern, a new mindset, and another chance to step into the moment. Day Three is on deck.
We’ll be ready.
