End of the Evening – After the Lanes

End of the Evening – After the Lanes

It’s been a long day—full of competition, emotion, learning, and love.

After hours at the bowling center, match play highs and lows, and a full day of focus, we closed it out the best way we know how: dinner, downtime, and laughter.

We grabbed Texas Roadhouse right across the street—something comforting and familiar. No talk about bowling. Just good food, quiet smiles, and letting the day breathe. Bella and Lindsay relaxed. Barbi and I exhaled. And slowly, the intensity of the day began to fade.

Now we’re back at the hotel, winding down. The girls are playing games and laughing. No pressure. No expectations. Just being who they are.

These are the moments that matter most. Not the final frame or the standings—but this. Being together. Laughing after a long day. Remembering that joy and connection always come first.

Tomorrow brings another day at the World Series of Bowling. But tonight, we rest.
