End of the Day, Start of the Light

The sun is setting on Mother’s Day, and I find myself thinking not just about today, but about all the little unseen things that make up the life we’re building.

Some days feel heavy. Some feel holy. Most days — they’re both.

And in the quiet space between those two, I’ve learned to keep walking. One prayer at a time. One word at a time. One act of love at a time.Even when I don't have all the answers, I still know this:

We are not lost.We are being led.

Led by love.Led by purpose.Led by something higher that keeps whispering, “You’re not done yet.”

Barbi, if you're reading this, I want you to know — your strength doesn't have to look like fire all the time. Sometimes it looks like tears held back, like whispering prayers when no one's watching, like quietly showing up for the ones you love. You are not alone. You are never alone.

Bella, I don’t know what this next season will ask of us. But I do know this: we’re going to give it all we’ve got. Not because we have to prove something… but because we’re built for this.

You shine because you’re loved. You rise because you were made to.And you belong — deeply, forever — to a family that’s walking by faith, not fear.

As the week begins, I’m setting my heart to create, connect, and contribute. To tell stories that matter. To show up with discipline and love.To keep becoming who I was created to be.

And to remind myself — and maybe you — that in every setback, there’s a seed. And in every ending, there’s a beginning.

Tomorrow starts a new week.Let’s begin again — together.

Waiting and Uncertainty

This morning I reflect on waiting and uncertainty and how both can feel like quiet teachers. Waiting is not empty. It is practice. It is the slow strengthening of patience. And uncertainty is not puni
