End of Qualifying – Danielle McEwan Pattern | World Series of Bowling Day Two Recap
This morning’s medium oil pattern was full of ups and downs, but both Bella and Lindsay finished strong and made it into match play.
Bella started the day off great and was in first place going into the last game. But Game 6 didn’t go her way. She had a couple of tough splits and missed a 10-pin spare in the 5th. Even though she threw a good ball in the 10th, the earlier frames caught up to her. She finished with a 149 and ended the day with a total score of 1200, placing her as the 6 seed going into match play.
Lindsay had a great final game. She stayed focused, made the right adjustments, and ended with a strong 231. Her total for the day was +7 over and that likely puts her as the 5 seed.
That means:
Bella (6 seed) will face the 3 seed in the first round of match play.
Lindsay (5 seed) will face the 4 seed.
Even though Bella’s last game was tough, she fought all the way through, and she’s still in the bracket. Lindsay’s strong finish gave her a big boost heading into the next round. Both girls are ready and excited for match play.
Right now, they’re packing up their backpacks and we’re heading out to grab something to eat. After that, it’s back to the lanes for the next big challenge.
Let’s go.
