Choosing Gratitude Over Fear

Choosing Gratitude Over Fear

As I walked this morning, I reflected on the way fear works in our lives. Fear is deception—it convinces us to see ourselves and the world in ways that aren’t real. Fear makes shadows seem like threats and ordinary moments feel overwhelming.

When I choose fear, I deceive myself. I step into a false world built on illusions. But when I choose love, I return to truth. I remember who I really am.

Gratitude is the antidote. Where fear deceives, gratitude reveals. Instead of resentment, I can see blessings. Instead of deception, I can see truth. Gratitude shifts my mindset, lifts my altitude, and changes my attitude.

This morning reminded me: fear has no hold on me when I choose gratitude.
