Blog Title: Family Front Seats & Backseat Formatting

Today wasn’t about starting something new—it was about honoring what was already finished.

After a peaceful morning ride with the dog, I hopped in the backseat while Barbi took Bella to work. I sat behind them, watching two of my greatest gifts ride up front, and used the time to get some focused work in. Not the kind of work that demands a fresh start—but the kind that asks for patience, persistence, and polish.

At Barbi’s office, I found a quiet corner and started chipping away at the final touches of The Compass and the Hourglass—a story that’s already been written. The heart of it was there. It didn’t pour out today. It had already been poured. Today was about getting it formatted and ready to go online for those who’ve been asking where they can buy it.

We wrapped up the day with a car wash, a little cleaning, and a pool request from Bella that reminded me what really matters. Yes, there’s work to do. But there’s also joy to live.

Some days are for creating. Others are for completing. Today was the second kind—and I’m grateful for it.
