A Sweet Win

A Sweet Win

Some days are about more than just bowling. Today was one of those days.

Bella bowled her heart out in match play, found her rhythm, and came away with the win. The trophy in her hands was proof of the hard work she put in, but it wasn’t the only thing that mattered. What mattered just as much were the smiles, the laughter, and the little moments in between — the hugs, the encouragement, the conversations with friends, and the family standing by her side.

When it was all over, we celebrated the way we love to celebrate — with ice cream, laughter, and the comfort of knowing we had shared something special together. After that, we packed up, loaded the car, and started the drive back toward West Texas. A long road ahead, but one made sweeter by the memories we’re carrying with us.

For Barbi and me, the win was sweet, but the memory of this day — the teamwork, the fun, and the family moments — will be even sweeter.
